XXI Jornada Internacional de la Seguridad de la Información La Asociación Española para el Fomento de la Seguridad de la Información, ISMS Forum, celebrará su vigesimoprimera edición de la Jornada Internacional de Seguridad de la Información el próximo día 30 de mayo en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid (C/ Alcalá 42, Acceso por C/ Marqués de Casa Riera, 2). La Jornada Internacional de Seguridad de la Información se constituye como el congreso privado nacional de referencia para los sectores de la ciberseguridad y la protección de datos. Más de 600 profesionales de la seguridad de la información y la protección de datos se darán cita para debatir en torno al nuevo escenario de ciberamenazas y el impacto de las políticas de ciberseguridad y protección de datos personales en su interacción con el proceso de Revolución Digital que afronta el sector empresarial, y el riesgo asumible en una ineludible apuesta por la innovación y la automatización de procesos en busca de los preceptos Fast, Cheap & Easy. Bajo el título "Cyber Risk Appetite in the new Digital Revolution", durante toda la jornada se sucederán ponencias y debates con la presencia de reconocidos expertos y autoridades, nacionales e internacionales, que nos ayudarán a entender mejor las claves para afrontar el nuevo contexto. Uno de los invitados especiales de esta edición es Troels Oerting, Head of the Centre for Cybersecurity del World Economic Forum, quien nos aportará su visión sobre los retos de la Seguridad Digital en un contexto socio-económico cambiante. |
XXI Internacional Información Security Conference ISMS Forum will hold its twenty-first edition of the International Information Security Conference on May 30 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid (C / Alcalá 42, Acceso by C / Marqués de Casa Riera, 2). The International Information Security Conference is consolidated as the national private congress of reference for the cybersecurity and data protection sectors. More than 600 professionals from information security and data protection will meet to discuss the new scenario of cyberthreats, the cybersecurity and personal data protection policies impact in their interaction with the Digital Revolution process in which the business sector is involved, and the assumable risk in an unavoidable commitment to innovation and automation processes in search of the Fast, Cheap & Easy concepts. Under the title "Cyber Risk Appetite in the new Digital Revolution", during the whole day there will be keynotes and debates by recognized experts and authorities, national and international, that will help us to better understand the keys to face the new context. One of the special guests this year is Troels Oerting, Head of the Center for Cybersecurity of the World Economic Forum, who will provide us with his vision about the challenges of Digital Security in a changing socio-economic context. |

Motivaciones
El Foro Económico Mundial en su Informe Global de Riesgos del 2019 identifica dentro de los riesgos más preocupantes a escala global, por su probabilidad de ocurrencia e impacto, la vulnerabilidad de los datos personales, los ciberataques dirigidos a infraestructuras críticas, las noticias falsas y el robo de identidad. Por su parte, el Informe Anual del Seguridad Nacional pone de manifiesto la preocupación por el ciberesionaje y otras acciones atribuidas al hacktivismo como son el ataque de Denegación de Servicio, la exfiltración y publicación de datos, así como las implicaciones legales, financieras y regulatorias que suponen dichas acciones para el tejido empresarial.
Nos encontramos, por tanto, ante una de las grandes preocupaciones tanto en el entorno público como privado: la dependencia de las redes y de los sistemas de información para el bienestar, la estabilidad y el crecimiento de las Naciones.
Todos los actores están preparándose a este nuevo escenario. La Administración está centrando sus esfuerzos en la definición de distintos marcos regulatorios: La Estrategia de Ciberseguridad, el Reglamento General de Protección de Datos Personales, el Real Decreto-Ley de Seguridad de las Redes y los Sistemas de información, el Esquema Nacional de Seguridad, la normativa sobre protección de infraestructuras críticas y la normativa de seguridad privada. Todas ellas con un factor común: establecer un conjunto de criterios o medidas de seguridad a aplicar.
Para las empresas, los nuevos paradigmas como son la Transformación Digital, el uso de soluciones basadas en la Nube o Cloud Computing, la incorporación de dispositivos IoT, el Big Data, suponen un cambio en la forma de entender cómo la tecnología facilita el negocio.
Es por todo ello, que la apuesta público-privada por la Seguridad de la Información y el papel de los responsables (CISO y DPO) cobran un papel trascendental en el mundo que viene. La gestión de los riesgos de seguridad se constituye, por tanto, como elementos clave para garantizar la supervivencia y el desarrollo de las organizaciones del futuro ya presente. |
Motivations The World Economic Forum in its Global Risk Report of 2019 identifies among the most worrisome risks on a global scale, due to its probability of occurrence and impact, the vulnerability of personal data, cyberattacks aimed at critical infrastructures, false news and the Identity Theft. For its part, the Annual National Security Report concerns about cyber-espionage and other actions attributed to hacktivism such as the DNS attack, the exfiltration and publication of data, as well as the legal, financial and regulatory implications that these suppose for the business sector. Therefore, we are facing one of the great concerns in both the public and private environment: the dependence on networks and information systems for the welfare, stability and growth of nations. All actors are preparing for this new scenario. The Administration is focusing its efforts on the definition of different regulatory frameworks: The Cybersecurity Strategy, the General Data Protection Regulation, the Royal Decree-Law on Security of Networks and Information Systems, the National Security Scheme, protection of critical infrastructures and private security regulations. All of them with a common factor: establish security measures to apply. For companies, new paradigms such as Digital Transformation, the use of Cloud-based or Cloud Computing solutions, the incorporation of IoT devices, Big Data, represent a change in the way of understanding how technology facilitates business. This is why the public-private commitment to Information Security and the role of those responsible (CISO and DPO) have a transcendental role in the world to come. The management of security risks is constituted as key elements to ensure the survival and organizations development of the future already present. |
